Huber Repair Steps
Huber Repair Steps
At Huber Collision Center, we understand no one is eager to need our services, but when you do, you can count on us to deliver excellence. Our nine-step process will get your car back on the road and looking good again.
STEP 1: GET AN ESTIMATE
The first step in getting your vehicle repaired is to call us to schedule an estimate.
STEP 2: VEHICLE DROP-OFF
You can bring your vehicle to us or have it towed directly to our facility. Once it's here, you can rest assured it will receive first-class care.
STEP 3: THOROUGH INSPECTION
Your insurance carrier and our team provide an initial assessment of the damage but they can only see what's on the surface. Once inside our shop, we can dismantle the vehicle and check for any hidden damage. Then we can provide a realistic idea of the time needed for repair. Hidden damage, if not diagnosed and repaired, can cause significant problems later.
STEP 4: BODY REPAIR
This is where we address the dings, dents and major damage to the body of your vehicle. This involves replacing some parts and repairing others. Our technicians show meticulous attention to detail to erase the evidence of a collision.
STEP 5: PAINTING AND REFINISHING
New and repaired parts are painted so they match the rest of the vehicle. As a company that seeks to be good stewards of the environment, we use water-borne paints. We also paint and refinish in enclosed areas to achieve the optimum finish for your vehicle.
STEP 6: RE-ASSEMBLY
Parts that were removed during the repair and painting phases are re-installed on the vehicle as the final step of the repairs.
STEP 7: CLEAN-UP
We wash and vacuum the vehicle so it's returned to you looking great inside and out.
STEP 8: QUALITY ASSURANCE
Quality control is part of every step of the process but at this stage, one of our Quality Assurance Leaders inspects your vehicle and reviews the repairs using our 21-point checklist. Anything that doesn't meet our standard of excellence is sent to be addressed.
STEP 9: DELIVERY
Our Guest Services Team contacts you to let you know your vehicle is ready. When you arrive, we offer you a walk-around of the vehicle to explain the work that was done and provide your receipt with our Lifetime Repair Guarantee.
